Well... its not to hard to tell how long its been since last writing on here... but i have a whole lot to update so i thought this would be the best way to do it. where to Start..... 1. On July 17th 1006 Shannon Marie Adams and Samuel Allen Camp were married in a texas court house. So you dont feel left out... we will still be having a wedding when i return home... which brings me to my next point... 2. Recently, on an unspecified date, I left the greatest nation in the world, for a second tour of duty to the most God forsaken nation in the world. Yep... im back in Iraq.... and let me tell you... the weather hasnt changed at all... i wont be done this one till at least October of 2007, yep... another full year... but my Mid-tour Leave will more then likely be in may... probably shortly after May 13th... which brings me to me next major point, and the happiest news i have ever had.. 3. Just three short weeks before i sent Shannon home for my deployment, we found out that we are going to be Parents... yep you read it write... Im going to be a Daddy. I cant believe im saying this, but im so friggin pumped its unbelievable. I knew when i married her, that Shannon was the best woman for the task of raising my kids, and i couldnt be happier. However, Kids cost money, which brings me to my final exciting news. 4. After acing the board, and spending all time required to fill such position, i shall be awarded and promoted to the grade of E-5, or for those of you non-mils out there... i should be Sergeant Samuel Allen Camp in about three weeks. well, there you have it the major new in my life... oh and on a lighter note, i quit smoking and since july of 2006 have averaged less the three beers a week... going several weeks with out a single drop of alcohol... its amazing what a woman can do to you...damn her...haha...just kidding... I love you Dear.... Anyways... till my next update... please keep intouch via email and xanga notes, and for anyone interested, when i finally get my mailing address i would be more then happy to allow you to send me letters, pictures, and of course the always desirable care packages... I love you all |
